Which tool should I use to share what an AI agent made?

Start with what you share and who opens it. A public site goes to a deploy platform such as Netlify, Cloudflare Pages, GitHub Pages or Vercel. A PDF or a deck with page-level tracking goes to a data-room tool such as DocSend. A document that a team writes together goes to Google Docs or Notion. An HTML or Markdown report, plan or prototype for specific people goes to a host that checks identity. Display (display.dev), the docs workspace for agents and people, is that kind of host.

We checked the facts on this page on 20 October 2026. Each comparison page shows its own check date and sources.

Where Display is not the answer

Display has no password links, no expiring links, no self-hosting, no live co-editing and no server-side code. Outside guests can view an artifact. Guest comments are not available yet. What Display does not do has the full list.

An Owner on Pro or Enterprise can turn off Public artifacts or outside sharing for the whole organization. See Organization artifact access.

FAQ

How do I share an HTML file from an AI agent with my team?+
Publish it to a host that checks identity. With Display, ask your agent: "Publish this report to Display for my company." The agent returns a link. Colleagues open it after they sign in with their company email address.
How do I share a Claude artifact or a ChatGPT page with colleagues who have no seat?+
Publish the file to a URL that checks identity, not a seat in that vendor's product. Colleagues open a Display artifact with their company email address. They need no Claude or ChatGPT seat.
Do I need a deploy platform to share one HTML file?+
No. A deploy platform builds and serves a site. For one file that a few people read, a host that publishes single files needs fewer steps.
Which tool is best for a public website?+
A deploy platform such as Netlify, Cloudflare Pages, GitHub Pages or Vercel.
Can reviewers outside my company comment in Display?+
Not yet. Outside guests can view an artifact after they enter a one-time password. Guest comments are not available yet. Members of your organization can comment.
