Papermark and DocSend alternative
Share agent-made HTML reports with unlimited viewers.
Display renders the HTML or Markdown as your agent built it. Readers sign in, comment, and always see the latest version at the same link.
The demo shows an agent publishing a doc to display.dev – from a chat or a terminal – then a teammate opening its URL, selecting Edit, changing a number on the page and saving v2, a colleague commenting on v2, the agent publishing v3 at the same URL and resolving the comment, and the doc being shared with someone outside the company.
Cursor, Codex, Claude Code – any agent that writes a file. Switch agents anytime – your URLs, versions and comments stay put.
What is a Papermark or DocSend alternative with flat pricing and unlimited viewers?
Papermark shares PDFs and other documents with page-by-page analytics. It charges for team members, not visitors. If you send PDFs and need reading time for each page, NDAs or a data room, stay with a document-sharing tool. If an agent made an HTML or Markdown report, plan or prototype, use Display (display.dev), the docs workspace for agents and people. Display charges the organization, not the viewer. Solo costs €15 a month and Pro costs €49 a month, with unlimited viewers on every plan. Readers sign in with a company account or a one-time password (OTP). Updates keep the same link.

What counts as a seat
- Seat
- A seat is a person who creates or manages content. Papermark counts team members as seats. A visitor who opens a link costs nothing.
- Viewer
- A viewer only opens the content. Display charges no fee for viewers on any plan. A publisher needs access to the organization, and readers do not.
- When seats work
- Seat pricing works when most people who open the content also write it. It stops working when ten people read each document that one person writes. Why per-seat pricing hurts internal sharing explains the effect.
Stay with Papermark if
- Your file is a PDF and you must know which page a buyer read for the longest time.
- You need an NDA before a document opens.
- You run due diligence in a data room with groups and permissions.
- You want open-source code that you can host yourself.
- You send decks to new prospects and want each viewer's email address.
Display has none of these. It fits when an agent made the file, and colleagues or clients read the latest version at one link.

Common questions.
What is a good Papermark alternative for HTML files?
Display, when an agent made the HTML or Markdown file. Papermark accepts HTML and Markdown files from its Business plan, and its core job is document sharing with analytics. Display renders the HTML as built, so charts and scripts work.
Is there a DocSend alternative with flat pricing?
Display charges a flat price for the organization: Solo €15 and Pro €49 a month, with unlimited viewers. Papermark also charges for team members, not visitors. We could not check DocSend's own pricing page on 20 October 2026.
Does Display have page-by-page analytics?
No. Display shows view counts on Solo and viewer identity on Pro. It sends no alert when a person first opens a page. If you must know which page a reader spent time on, use a document-sharing tool such as Papermark.
Does Display have NDAs or data rooms?
No. Use Papermark Data Rooms or another data-room tool for that.
Can I send an HTML file to an outside client?
Yes. Invite the client by email. The client enters an OTP at the first visit and creates no account. Invited guests can view, but guest comments are not available yet.
