Display for software engineers
A shared workspace
for everyfeature prototype
Your coding agent writes HTML and Markdown. Publish it with one command, share the link with your team, and your agent reads their comments.

The missing link in your stack
Codex builds a prototype of Wyndlow's new booking widget and publishes it to Display, where everyone at Wyndlow can open it. The owner shares the URL with Sam, a contractor, who signs in with a one-time password and can view it. Maya, a Wyndlow engineer, selects Edit and changes the headline from “Three clicks to book.” to “Two clicks to book.” on the page, then selects Save changes, which publishes v2. She comments on the times: show them in the visitor’s time zone. Codex adds a time-zone row, publishes v3 at the same URL and resolves her comment.
Create feature prototypes with ease
Ask your agent for two or three directions as HTML. Your team clicks through them and comments. You iterate and build the best option.
Compare design directions
Each direction is a working page. Product and design click through it before anyone writes production code.
Decide before you write production code
The comments and the version the team agreed on stay at one link. Building it happens in your codebase, as before.
Three ways to book a slot
Today 3.1% of bookings fail at confirm. Each direction cuts the time between seeing a slot and holding it.

B tested best with Support. Build B, and keep the hold banner from A.
Build great-looking visual explainers and diagrams
Ask your agent for an architecture diagram in HTML. The team reads it in the browser and comments on the step in question.
- 1The widget posts the booking form to the edge.
- 2The edge checks the session and sends the request to the visitor’s region.
- 3The Booking API writes a hold row that expires after 5 minutes.1
- 4A confirmed booking goes on the queue.
- 5The reminder service sends the confirmation.
Turn feedback into the next version
Your agent reads all in-line comments, and can ship iterations based on their feedback at the same URL.
01Publish from your agent
Ask Cursor, Codex or Claude Code to publish the file, in its app or in the terminal.
02Comment in-line
Teammates select a line on the page and comment there.
03Let your agent answer
Your agent reads the open threads, publishes the next version and resolves the threads it answered.
Edit any document in-line.
Fix any line right where you read it.
A Q3 delivery report is open on display.dev, with 89.7% in its On-time rate tile. Someone selects Edit in the header, changes the tile to 94.4% on the page, and selects Save changes. The report reopens as version 4 at the same URL.

Decide who opens each link
Every link you publish starts private. Open it to everyone at your company, or invite people outside it by email.
Private by default
A link you publish opens only for you until you share it.
Sign-in for your team
On Pro, teammates open links with the Google or Microsoft account they already use.
Contractors and partners
Invite a contractor or a partner by email. They sign in with a one-time password and can view the doc, but not edit or comment.
See who opened it
On Pro, see who opened each link and when, before you follow up.

Shared with everyone at your company
“Before Display, we were sharing artifacts in Slack. For HTML artifacts, this meant messy and often confusing screenshots. Display is a perfect elegant solution for us.”

Publish up to three private links free. No card needed, and viewers are always free.
Before you share the first link
What can I publish to Display?
One HTML or Markdown file per link: feature prototypes, design docs, API references, postmortems and architecture diagrams. A file can be up to 10 MB on Free and 50 MB on paid plans.
Can I host my app on Display?
No. Display publishes documents, one file per link. Keep your app where you deploy it today.
Which agents work with Display?
Cursor, Codex, Claude Code and any other agent that can run a command. Install the Display skill, or connect the MCP server. The docs have a setup guide for each agent.
Can I publish without an agent?
Yes. Install the CLI with npm i -g @displaydev/cli, then run dsp publish with the file. In CI, store an API key as a secret, and each build publishes the next version at the same URL.
Do reviewers need a GitHub account or a Display seat?
No. Teammates sign in with a one-time password or, on Pro, with Google or Microsoft. People outside your company can view the doc but cannot comment. A forwarded link does not give anyone access.
What happens when I publish an update?
The new version replaces the old one at the same URL, and everyone who had access keeps it. Each comment records the version it was made on. Paid plans keep earlier versions: 10 on Solo and 50 on Pro.
Can I start for free?
Yes. The Free plan includes three private links and unlimited viewers, with no card needed. Paid plans add storage, version history and sign-in options.
Collaborate on your next feature with Display
Publish the prototype, hear what your team thinks, and build the version you agree on.
