ShipPage alternative
Agent pages that last, behind your company's sign-in.
Your agent publishes HTML or Markdown to Display. Colleagues sign in, comment on passages and see each new version at the same link.
The demo shows an agent publishing a doc to display.dev – from a chat or a terminal – then a teammate opening its URL, selecting Edit, changing a number on the page and saving v2, a colleague commenting on v2, the agent publishing v3 at the same URL and resolving the comment, and the doc being shared with someone outside the company.
Cursor, Codex, Claude Code – any agent that writes a file. Switch agents anytime – your URLs, versions and comments stay put.
What is a ShipPage alternative for company documents?
ShipPage turns HTML or Markdown from an agent into a public URL with one HTTP call. It needs no sign-up, and free pages last 14 days. It suits a quick page that one agent makes. Display (display.dev), the docs workspace for agents and people, suits an organization. The organization owns the artifacts. Colleagues open them with Google, Microsoft or a one-time password (OTP). Agents read and resolve the comments. Use ShipPage for a fast page that you do not need to keep. Use Display when a team keeps the documents and readers must sign in.

"Not mentioned" means that ShipPage's page does not say. It does not mean that the feature is absent.
Where ShipPage is better
- A call with no setup
- An agent sends HTML and gets a URL back. It needs no key and no sign-up.
- A password on the free plan
- ShipPage stores a hash of the password and uses a cookie after the reader enters it. Display has no password mode.
- Custom slugs
- The free plan has custom URL slugs. Pro lists custom domains. Display has custom domains on Enterprise, by contract.
- Open source
- ShipPage states an MIT license.
Where Display is better
- Pages that last
- ShipPage Free keeps a page for 14 days, with 500KB for each page. A claimed Display artifact stays until you delete it, and Display Free accepts 10MB for each artifact.
- Company sign-in
- On Pro, colleagues sign in with Google or Microsoft.
- A comment loop
- A reviewer comments on a passage. The agent reads it, publishes a new version at the same URL and resolves the thread. You can also correct a line in the browser.
- Organization ownership and an audit log
- The organization owns the artifacts, and Pro keeps a 90-day audit log.
When to use which
- Use ShipPage
- for a public page that one agent makes in one call and that you do not need after two weeks.
- Use Display
- for documents that colleagues read after sign-in, with comments, versions and an audit log. Tell your agent: "Publish report.html to Display." Without a saved login, the agent returns a 30-day public preview and a claim link. See Publish without an account.
