Claude Team artifact sharing alternative
Share Claude artifacts with colleagues who have no Claude seat.
Publish the artifact to Display. Colleagues sign in with their company email address, and you pay one flat price for the organization.
The demo shows an agent publishing a doc to display.dev – from a chat or a terminal – then a teammate opening its URL, selecting Edit, changing a number on the page and saving v2, a colleague commenting on v2, the agent publishing v3 at the same URL and resolving the comment, and the doc being shared with someone outside the company.
Cursor, Codex, Claude Code – any agent that writes a file. Switch agents anytime – your URLs, versions and comments stay put.
How do you share Claude artifacts with colleagues who do not have a Claude seat?
On Claude Team and Enterprise, a shared artifact opens only for signed-in members of your Claude organization. A colleague without a seat cannot read it. Publish the artifact's HTML to Display (display.dev), the docs workspace for agents and people. Claude publishes it through the Display connector, and colleagues open it with their company email address. Display charges for each organization, not for each viewer. Pro costs €49 a month for the whole company. Updates from Claude keep the same URL. Comments from colleagues come back to Claude through the same connector.
What Claude's internal sharing allows
- Who can open it. On Team and Enterprise you share an artifact with specific people, or with everyone in your organization. Enterprise adds groups. Viewers sign in to claude.ai as members of your organization.
- Outside people. Email invitations to people outside the organization are in beta, up to 50 for each artifact. They are on by default on Team and off by default on Enterprise. Each invited person needs a Claude account. An Owner can also turn on a public link. These are two different settings.
- Roles. Each person you share with gets Can view, Commenter or Can edit.
- Comments. Members can comment. Readers who open an artifact through a public link cannot comment.
- Claude Docs. On Team or Enterprise, you can share a doc with people, a group or the organization. You cannot share it outside the organization by link or by email invitation.
The rule that matters here: a colleague who reads inside your company must be a member of your Claude organization. Every member is a paid seat.

How to read this table: - A Claude seat includes Claude itself. Display's price covers only the pages. If your readers would buy Claude seats anyway, the seats cost you nothing more. - The table uses the Standard seat. The Premium seat costs $125 a month ($100 on annual billing). Enterprise lists $20 a seat on annual billing, plus usage at API rates, with a minimum of 20 seats. - Display has no per-seat fee on any plan. Viewers are unlimited on Free, Solo, Pro and Enterprise. The publisher's plan sets the limits: 3 gated artifacts on Free, unlimited on Solo and higher plans. See plans and limits.
How to share a Claude artifact with colleagues who have no seat
People outside your company
For a person outside your company, publish as Private and add their email address. They enter a one-time password and create no account. They can view the page but cannot comment yet. An Owner can restrict outside sharing for the whole organization.
Edit any document in-line.
Fix any line right where you read it.
A Q3 delivery report is open on display.dev, with 89.7% in its On-time rate tile. Someone selects Edit in the header, changes the tile to 94.4% on the page, and selects Save changes. The report reopens as version 4 at the same URL.

When to keep sharing inside Claude
- Every reader already has a Claude seat. Use Claude's own sharing. It costs nothing more and needs no second tool.
- The page pulls live data through the reader's own connectors. A Claude Code artifact can call connectors with the viewer's own account. A page published to Display is a file and cannot do this.
- Several people edit the same document at the same time. Claude Docs supports real-time co-editing. Display has no live multi-cursor editing.
- You want a comment to start Claude's work on the page. In Claude, an editor can send a comment to Claude or mention
@claude. On Display, Claude reads comments when you ask it to.
Compared with Stacktree's email-domain gate
Stacktree has an email check on its paid plans (from $19 a month) and a passcode on every plan. Its pricing page marks team members and roles as coming soon, and it lists no single sign-on. Its agent can read the feedback that readers leave. Display gates by company identity at the organization level, with roles, an audit log on Pro, and Google and Microsoft sign-in. Stacktree has passcodes, expiry dates, a custom domain from its Solo plan and comments from outside readers. Display has none of those today. See the Stacktree comparison.
Common questions.
Can colleagues without a Claude seat open a shared Claude artifact?
No. On Team and Enterprise, colleagues must sign in as members of your Claude organization. A reader outside the organization needs an email invitation and a Claude account.
How much does it cost for the whole company to read Claude artifacts?
On Claude, each reader needs a seat: $20 to $25 a month on Team Standard. On Display, Pro costs €49 a month for the organization, with unlimited viewers.
Does Claude publish to Display directly?
Yes. Claude's connector directory lists Display with a Community label. Claude publishes artifacts, updates them at the same URL, and reads comments.
Does Display replace Claude?
No. Claude makes the artifact. Display holds the page for the people who read it.
Does the artifact still work after I publish it?

Can my company's Google or Microsoft account open it?
Yes on Pro and Enterprise. On Free and Solo, colleagues use the email one-time password.
Is there a fee for each viewer?
No. See pricing.
