here.now alternative

Keep an agent's page for 30 days without an account.

An agent publishes HTML or Markdown to Display with no account. The page stays open for 30 days, and you can claim it to keep it.

The demo shows an agent publishing a doc to display.dev – from a chat or a terminal – then a teammate opening its URL, selecting Edit, changing a number on the page and saving v2, a colleague commenting on v2, the agent publishing v3 at the same URL and resolving the comment, and the doc being shared with someone outside the company.

Works with your agents

Cursor, Codex, Claude Code – any agent that writes a file. Switch agents anytime – your URLs, versions and comments stay put.

What is a here.now alternative that keeps agent-published pages past 24 hours?

here.now gives an agent a quick anonymous URL that expires after 24 hours. A here.now account keeps sites until you delete them. Display (display.dev), the docs workspace for agents and people, keeps an anonymous publish for 30 days. The agent gets a public preview URL and a claim URL. After you claim the artifact, you can make it private, invite people by email, collect comments and publish updates at the same URL. Use here.now for a public site, a custom domain or file storage for agents. Use Display when colleagues review the page.

What happens after 24 hours

here.now
An anonymous site expires after 24 hours. To keep it, you claim the site with an account. Account sites stay until you delete them or set a time limit.
Display
An anonymous publish returns a public preview URL and a single-use claim URL. The preview stays open for 30 days. From day 30 to day 60, the preview shows an "expired, claim to restore" page, and a claim still restores the artifact. After 60 days, the artifact is gone. The preview sets noindex, so search engines do not list it.
After you claim it on Display
The artifact moves into your organization. You choose who can open it, and colleagues comment on passages. Your agent reads the comments and publishes a new version at the same URL. You can also correct a line in the browser without a new agent run.
Limits without an account
An MCP host can publish through https://api.display.dev/v1/public/mcp, which has only the publish tool. Display accepts 10 anonymous publishes for each IP address in an hour, with files up to 50MB. See Publish without an account.

Publish with an agent and no account

01
Ask the agent
Tell it: "Publish ./report.html to Display without an account. Return the preview URL and the claim URL."
02
Save the response
The response holds the preview URL, the claim URL and the expiry time. Anonymous artifacts do not appear in a dashboard, so the response is the only record.
03
Open the claim URL
Sign in with Google, Microsoft or a one-time password (OTP). The artifact moves into your organization.
04
Choose who can open it
Keep it public, limit it to your company, or make it private and invite people by email.

Where here.now is better

Agent file storage
here.now Drives are private cloud folders where agents keep files, plans and research. Each Drive keeps a version history. Display keeps published artifacts, not agent working files.
Server-side calls
here.now proxy routes call outside APIs from its servers and add keys that you store. Display hosts finished files only.
Custom domains
A free here.now account has 1 custom domain. Hobby has 5 and a name at {name}.here.now. Display has custom domains on Enterprise, by contract.
Passwords
here.now can protect a site with a password. Display has no password mode.
Team accounts
here.now team accounts are free, with up to 50 members each.
Price
here.now Hobby costs $4 a month. Display Solo costs €15 a month.

Where Display is better

Anonymous pages last longer
An anonymous publish stays open for 30 days, not 24 hours.
Comments that agents answer
Comments tie to a passage and a version. Agents read them, reply and resolve them.
Organization ownership
The organization owns each artifact, with Owner, Admin and Member roles.
Company sign-in and records
On Pro, colleagues sign in with Google or Microsoft, and Display keeps a 90-day audit log.
MCP with sign-in
The MCP server accepts OAuth or an API key. here.now says that it does not advertise MCP.
Markdown
Markdown renders with themes and Mermaid diagrams.
Claude
Display is in Claude's connector directory.

When to use which

Use here.now
for a public site, a custom domain, agent file storage, or a quick link that you do not need after a day.
Use Netlify or Cloudflare Pages
for a public static site that you update from Git.
Use Display
when colleagues review the document, when it must stay private, or when an agent must read comments and publish the next version. People outside your organization can view a private artifact after they enter an OTP. Guest comments are not available yet.
