Get a link
Publish this document to a Display URL that you can send to anyone.
- Anyone with the link can open it for 30 days. Search engines do not index it.
- You also get a claim link. Open it and sign in to keep the page and choose who can open it.
Nothing leaves your browser until you select Get a link. Do not publish passwords, keys or personal data.
How to use the Markdown table generator
- Type into the grid. The first row is the header row. Select Add row or Add column to make the table larger.
- To start from data, copy cells in a spreadsheet and paste them into a cell. Or select Paste CSV, paste CSV text and select Fill the table.
- Set the alignment of each column with the menu above it.
- Select Copy to put the Markdown table on your clipboard. Select Preview to see the formatted table.
- To send the table as a page, select Get a link. Display publishes the table as a Markdown document and gives you a URL and a claim link.
Limits
- The grid holds up to 300 rows and 20 columns. Data that is larger is cut, and the tool tells you.
- The first row is always the header row. GitHub Markdown tables always have a header row.
- Line breaks in a cell become <br> tags, and a pipe character becomes \|.
- Merged cells, cell colors and formulas from a spreadsheet are not copied. Formulas paste as their values.
- Get a link makes a public link. Anyone with the URL can open it for 30 days. Search engines do not index it.
Markdown table generator questions
Does the generator send my table to Display?
No. The table stays in your browser. Display receives the Markdown only when you select Get a link.
Which Markdown does the table use?
GitHub Markdown table syntax. GitHub, GitLab, Display and most Markdown editors show it as a table. The tool pads the columns, so the source is easy to read as plain text too.
How do I paste from Excel or Google Sheets?
Select the cells in the sheet and copy them. Then select a cell in the grid and paste. The cells fill the grid from that cell, and the grid gets larger if necessary.
How long does the link work?
30 days. Open the claim link and sign in to keep the table in your Display organization. After you claim it, you can make it open only for people at your company.
Let your agent publish the next one
Connect Cursor, Codex, Claude Code or any other agent. It publishes HTML and Markdown to a URL, and you choose who can open it.
